Students Comments
I need to tell you that I used what I learned in your Reiki II class
in regard to clearing and balancing
the chakras. I have a wonderful teacher in the class that I am taking
at massage school, she is also
an energy worker and Reiki Master and we are learning about Chakras
and she allowed me to show
my fellow students about the chakras and how to balance them. I worked
on 10 students last night, including the teacher and the whole process
and feedback was phenomenal! It felt so good to use
what I learned for Reiki II in such a way and to also help my classmates
understand and feel what the chakra system is and how it affects our
lives. Again, thankyou! You are a wonderful teacher and I am looking
forward to Reiki III.
Blessings, Donna G.
Whisperings of Wisdom
"Spread love wherever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving
happier." ~~Mother Teresa
What you are thinking now is creating your future life. You create
your life with your thoughts. Because you are always thinking, you are
always creating. What you think about the most or focus on the most,
it what will appear as your life. (from "The Secret")
Beauty of a Woman
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love rsides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole.
It is in the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows.
The beauty of a woman with passing years-she only grows.
Remember that you are a goddess. Every morning when you wake
take time to look at your sleepy, bed-headed self in the mirror, pinch
your cheek and give a big grin, then say,
"By goddess, your name, you ARE gorgeous!"
Giving and receiving are both blessings and each builds its foundation
on the other.
As we learn to receive, so have we that much more to give.
Only when you are willing to accept both openly will you truly be able
to experience the
magic of generosity and abundance.

Trouble no man about his religion--respect him in his view of the Great
Spirit,
and demand of him that he respect yours. Treat with respect such things
as he
holds sacred. Do not force your religion on anyone.

When all our liberation and our achievements are said and done, we women
still have difficulty taking a stand on our own behalf. We tend to get
worn down easily when it comes to issues we face. We do a much better
job standing up for others.
We women always have choices. It is so important that the choices
we make are ours.
Unhappiness inspired by what you don't have is easy to overcome when
you
open your eyes to the wonderful things already present in your life.
Remember
that joy is a state of mind and it is pointless to sacrifice the happiness
of today
for a set of possibilities that may or may not come to be.
Let's Talk Crystals
CHOOSING CRYSTALS:
A crystal might grab your attention or you might suddenly find yourself
drawn
to one and it will not let you go. You must simply have it. Then this
is the
crystal for you. The Crystal has choosen you. If you hold a crystal
and you
feel a buzz or surge of energy, or maybe it sticks to your finger, than
that
one it for you. Those are just a couple of ways to help you to choose
a crystal.
When choosing a crystal, biggest is not always the best choice, nor
is beauty
or high cost. Tune in to it, hold the crystal in your hands, look at
it,
feel its texture. Close your eyes, quiet your mind and allow the crystal
to
communicate with you. If when your done the crystal feels right than
you made a
good choice, but if you do not like the feel of it, there could be a
couple of
reason why. One: simply, the crystal isn't for you or two: the crystal
is
bringing up something you are not yet ready to deal with. In that case
you
could look up the properties of that crystal to see if this holds true
for you.
HOW TO CLEANSE A CRYSTAL:
Crystals absorb energy. If you bought a crystal, it will have the energy
of
everyone who has handled it. Crystals in your home, or those worn, absorb
energetic vibrations. If a crystal has picked up negative energy, it
can be
passed on. Crystals need to be cleansed regularly: daily or after each
use
if used for healing, and weekly or monthly if they are worn as jewlery.
Certain methods are more suitable for particular crystals, than others.
Soft stones should not be immersed in water, and care must be taken
not to
scratch polished crystals.
As you clean you crystal, use the intention in your mind that any negative
energies will be transmuted into positive ones and that the crystal
will
be re-energized.
The sun, moon, water, sea salt, or plants can be effective purifiers
of
negative energies. Choose the appropriate method for your crystal.
SMUDGING: Hold the crystal in smoke from, cedar, sweetgrass or sage
smudge
stick. You can use a feather to fan the smoke gently across the crystal.
VISUALIZATION: Visualize pure while light surrounding the crystal, cleansing
and changing the energies. Keep doing that until the crystal has a good
vibration again.
QUARTZ CLUSTER: You can put crystals on a large quartz cluster for a
few hours.
Stones that like the sun can be left in the sun and the same for stones
that
prefer the moon leave in the moonlight.
SEA SALT: Crystals that would be harmed by water can be placed directly
into sea
salt and left there for a few hours to clear themselves.
WATER: Hold a crystal under running water in a stream, ocean or kitchen
faucet and the water will quickly cleanse the energies. Allow to dry
in the sun.
PLANTS: You can also bury your cyrstals in with your plants. Leave them
there
for a day, then dig them up and clean the dirt off them. Some crystals
can be left buried in with your plants to help keep your plants healthy.
